Job summary

Jobtailor in Dallas, TX seeks an seasoned Project Manager to lead large structural projects across civic, education, aviation, infrastructure, and facility assessment markets. You will serve as Project Manager on assigned projects, manage client relationships, grow the project pipeline, and mentor staff.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in project management or construction management, strong leadership, financial oversight, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years required experience in project management, construction management, or related experience.
• Significant stock ownership representing a clear, forward focused path to the Associate Principal level.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field (preferred).
• Sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Client Executive in managing the team.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Oversee large structural projects across civic, education, aviation, infrastructure, and facility assessment markets.
• Serve as Project Manager on most assigned projects.
• Grow new and repeat business and build the project pipeline.
• Manage client and project fees with an aggregate value of approximately $2M.
• Contribute approximately $1M in new annual fees.
• Support project financial success and accounts receivable collection.
• Coordinate business development opportunities with the Client Executive and marketing department.
• Participate in promotional activities, client interviews, market organizations, and meetings.
• Support technical training and consistency across teams.
• Update the marketing database with leads and proposals.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to senior staff.
• Contribute to sustainable design goals including SE2050.

Requirements

• Ability to travel up to 20% with occasional overnight stays
• Preferred: 15 years of project management, construction management, or related experience
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field
