LVI Associates in St. Paul, MN is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join a collaborative, employee-owned firm. You will manage structural design from initial concepts through construction on a varied portfolio including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• EIT certification required; PE or SE licensure preferred.
• Approximately 5–10 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience designing building structures with multiple materials.
• Working knowledge of building codes and design standards.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Structural analysis and design using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
• Preparing calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinating with architects, contractors, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
• Reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and requests for information.
• Conducting site visits and construction observations when required.
• Supporting project schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
• Providing guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
