Job summary

ECS seeks a Structural Project Engineer to join our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Charlotte, NC. You will support structural engineering and consulting projects through field investigations, testing, analysis, and report preparation for various facilities.

This role provides hands-on field experience, mentorship, and growth within a collaborative consulting environment, with opportunities to apply engineering knowledge to evaluate existing structures and propose repairs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering, assessment, testing, and consulting services.
• Direct and oversee field testing activities and investigations.
• Manage multiple projects with limited supervision and coordinate with clients and staff.
• Prepare clear technical reports and ensure quality and accuracy.
