Job summary

IMEG Corporation, a 100% employee-owned firm, is hiring a Structural Project Engineer in the Dallas Fort Worth area. You will lead design efforts for low to moderate complexity projects, mentor staff, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.

You will work with a team of engineers and consultants to support project budgets, communicate with clients, and ensure quality control and safety across design phases.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering required.
• PE license required; SE license or SE exam passed required.
• 2+ years in building design consulting; 4+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis and design for low to moderate complexity projects.
• Create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations to code requirements and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to gather project requirements and build relationships.
• Support project execution and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead project planning, budgeting, and scheduling tasks.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress and fees.
• Provide in-process design reviews and ensure IMEG quality control.
• Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to innovation efforts.
• Prioritize safety and conduct work ethically and professionally.
• Oversee projects through bidding, design, and construction administration phases.
