Job summary

IMEG seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis of building structures in Dallas–Fort Worth and Texas markets. You will manage complex projects, perform site assessments, develop calculations and specifications, and mentor junior staff while addressing client needs and regulatory requirements.

This full‑time hybrid role offers ESOP ownership and professional development support, including license exam prep and access to IMEG’s innovative tools.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering (or equivalent).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 10 years of experience in building design consulting (12 preferred).
• Mastery of design techniques and structural materials.
• Strong leadership and client relationship skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for the analysis of structural systems.
• Create designs, specifications, and calculations to code requirements and IMEG standards.
• Perform site assessments and generate detailed analyses and reports.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and build relationships.
• Provide in‑process design reviews and QC of designs and documents.
• Mentor staff and provide technical assistance on field issues.
• Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to R&D efforts.
• Prioritize safety and maintain professional ethics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Participate in project interviews and presentations.
