Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Structural MRB Engineer in Riverside, CA, focusing on composite and metallic aerospace structures. You will collaborate with a multi-discipline team, support MRB activities, and help drive process improvements in a production environment.

The role is onsite in Riverside, California, with travel up to 10%. Salary range is 118,300 USD to 224,900 USD, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to contribute to innovative aerospace solutions.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Experience with PLM/ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain customer approval for MRB authority through training and evidence of knowledge of materials, structures and requirements.
• Design repairs for damaged hardware using Catia to restore aerostructures design intent.
• Support existing product line design activities and process improvements to meet business needs.
• Interface with customers to communicate repairs and justify decisions.
• Support manufacturing to troubleshoot technical issues on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with Materials and Process engineers to interpret specifications and advise manufacturing.
