Requirements include a B.S. in aerospace or mechanical engineering, 8+ years in aerospace, MRB experience, and CATIA V5/V6 proficiency, with hands-on manufacturing or repair depot exposure and up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in aerospace or mechanical engineering or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of aerospace engineering experience.
  • Experience with manufacture and repair of metallic and composite structures.
  • Aerospace MRB experience.
  • Proficient with CATIA V5/V6 or similar CAD tool.
  • Hands-on experience in aircraft manufacturing facility or repair depot.

Responsibilities

  • Select methods, techniques, and criteria to resolve complex engineering issues.
  • Write robust dispositions to restore airworthiness with clear requirements.
  • Produce structural substantiation reports supporting NCR disposition.
  • Develop MRB work methods and tools and help build the Joby MRB system.
  • Monitor trends of recurring discrepancies and support root cause corrective actions.
  • Directly communicate with quality, inspection, manufacturing engineers, and M&P.
