Job summary

Cyient seeks an MRB professional with 10–15 years in aerospace, aircraft structure, or design to join our engineering team in Connecticut.

The role requires MRB certification, GD&T proficiency, and the ability to interpret manufacturing drawings; candidates will support engineering dispositions and CIPTs, coordinating corrective actions with production. US citizenship or permanent residency is required, and remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• MRB certification and understanding MRB requirements.
• Aerospace background with knowledge of design and aircraft structure.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing data.

Responsibilities

• Follow established engineering principles to determine steps for fabrication and assembly to meet quality and cost standards.
• Analyze specifications and drawings to develop production processes and operation sheets.
• Analyze existing processes and recommend changes to reduce costs, waste, and risk; improve yields and productivity.
• Coordinate resolution of non-conformances on engine components with CIPTs and related teams.
• Support in Engine Center Manufacturing Corrective Action Board (MCAB) and provide data for corrective actions.
• Provide robust assembly engineering coverage for production operations to ensure timely engine delivery and resolve assembly issues.
• Conduct final dispositions for engineering on QNs, reviewing defect descriptions, classifications, and recommendations.
