Job summary

Hader Solutions is seeking a Structural Mechanic 4 to lead weekend shift work on aircraft structural repair and assembly projects. You will read blueprints, apply sheet metal techniques, and rivet assemblies to exacting tolerances while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with 6 years of related experience, fluency in English, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible shifts. Some travel and safety/wLean practices are part of the role.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 6 years of related structural assembly experience.
• Proficient with blueprints, schematics, and measuring devices.
• Close tolerance work with special tools and solving dimensional problems.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and work flexible shifts.
• Fluent in English and competent with computers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fit, and rivet aircraft structures using blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics.
• Utilize sheet metal tools, perform drilling, riveting, and repair operations to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Mentor and assist team members, troubleshoot assembly issues, and develop methods to improve processes.
• Read and interpret technical documents, coordinate with supervision and inspection, and maintain accurate records.
• Support safety, 5S, and Lean initiatives, ensure a clean work environment, and adhere to all safety regulations.
• Perform rework and repairs as needed, and organize workloads to meet goals.

Additional Info
