This position directs the activities of the Central Campus Zone Shop. This position oversees 10-14 semi-skilled and skilled trade employees including HVAC technicians, plumbers, maintenance workers, electricians, carpenters, painters, and skilled trades workers. This shop is responsible for responding to trouble calls in the buildings within the central area of the University.
Although this is a supervisory position, foreman is expected to meet standard physical requirements of the construction trades. Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, crawl, squat, work from standard or extended ladder.
