You will read specifications, fabricate parts per instructions, and work with cranes and rigging crews while maintaining strict adherence to project requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess working knowledge skills and abilities for position.
• Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing, fit-for-duty medical.
• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to determine material locations, quantities, or sizes.
• Fabricate metal parts per blueprints or supervisor instructions.
• Hoist and position structural steel using cranes and signaling.
• Verify alignment of structural steel members with plumb bobs or levels.
• Cut, bend, or weld steel pieces with shears, torches, or welding equipment.
• Bolt structural members for riveting, bolting, or welding.
• Assemble hoisting equipment or rigging to move heavy equipment or materials.
