TIC_Craft is seeking a skilled steel erector to lay out, assemble, and erect structural steel in accordance with blueprints and industry standards. You will work on a construction/industrial site, operate cranes, weld and bolt components, and ensure accurate alignment and safe, efficient execution.

Responsibilities include fabricating parts per instructions, assembling hoisting equipment, and inspecting work for quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Reads specifications or blueprints to determine locations, quantities, or sizes of material required.
• Fabricates metal parts per blueprints or supervisor instructions.

Responsabilités

• Hoist and position steel members using cranes and signaling.
• Verify alignment of structural steel with plumb bobs, laser equipment, transits, or levels.
• Cut, bend, or weld steel pieces using shears, torches, or welding equipment.
• Move and assemble hoisting equipment to position heavy materials.
• Estimate sizes, distances, and quantities needed for work.
• Inspect subordinates' work for compliance with contract plans and correct deficiencies.
