Job summary

RK&K seeks a Structure Inspection Project Manager to lead our Virginia inspection practice. You will manage bridge, tunnel, and ancillary structure inspections, mentor staff, and support business development while leveraging UAS, 3D modeling, and NBIS-compliant processes.

The role requires a PE license, NBIS experience, and strong client communication. Occasional travel within Virginia and surrounding regions is expected as projects grow.

Qualifications

• Requires PE license and NBIS-related credentials.
• Experience leading NBIS-compliant inspection projects.
• Strong knowledge of NBIS, SNBI, AASHTO, FHWA, VDOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage bridge, tunnel, culvert, and ancillary structure inspection projects.
• Lead inspection teams and oversee field activities and deliverables.
• Prepare and approve inspection reports and field documentation.
• Apply inspection technologies including UAS/drones and 3D modeling.
• Coordinate findings with structural staff and support load ratings.
• Monitor budgets, task orders, invoicing, and progress reporting.
• Mentor staff and manage credentialing and training.
• Support client relationships and business development.
