Job summary

Tradesmen International is actively seeking experienced Structural Flux Core Welders for night-shift work around El Mirage, AZ. The role offers up to $35/hour plus a $120 per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the jobsite.

You will weld structural steel, interpret drawings, and maintain safety and quality on fast-paced projects. Ideal candidates have FCAW experience and the ability to read weld symbols, with certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• Previous structural steel welding experience required.
• Strong FCAW experience.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
• Experience with heavy structural steel and fabricated assemblies preferred.
• Experience working from WPS requirements.
• Current or expired welding certifications are encouraged.
• Ability to meet welding quality and production standards.
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding on steel beams, columns, and fabricated assemblies.
• Weld light and heavy structural steel in a fabrication shop environment.
• Complete structural steel prefabrication for data center projects.
• Perform FCAW in accordance with project specifications.
• Follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, structural prints, and weld symbols.
• Perform groove and fillet welds to required quality standards.
• Inspect finished welds and make necessary corrections or repairs.

Job Scope:

• Perform structural welding on steel beams, columns, and fabricated assemblies
• Weld light and heavy structural steel in a fabrication shop environment
• Complete structural steel prefabrication for data center projects
• Perform FCAW (Flux-Core Arc Welding) in accordance with project specifications
• Follow applicable Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, structural prints, and weld symbols
• Perform groove and fillet welds to required quality standards
• Inspect completed welds and make necessary corrections or repairsMaintain production requirements while ensuring weld quality
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Work extended shifts, weekends, and overtime as required by project needs

Requirements:
