Job summary

Tradesmen International is actively seeking experienced Structural Flux-Core Welders to join our team. Earn up to $35/hour plus a $100 per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the jobsite.

Qualifications

• Must pass various weld tests.
• Previous experience with structural steel fabrication.
• Strong FCAW/Flux-Core welding experience.
• Experience with heavy fabrication.
• Experience welding beams, columns, and structural assemblies.
• Proficiency with groove and fillet welds.
• Experience working from WPS requirements.
• Ability to read structural drawings and weld symbols.
• AWS or other recognized structural welding certifications are preferred.
• Current or expired welding certifications are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural steel welding in fabrication shop and field environments.
• Weld light and heavy beams, columns, and structural assemblies.
• Perform FCAW/Flux-Core welding per project specs and WPS.
• Read and interpret welding symbols and drawings.
• Maintain quality and safety in a production setting.
• Work extended shifts, weekends, and OT as required.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Structural Flux-Core Welders. The pay rate is up to $35/hour plus $100/per diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the Jobsite. Job Scope

• Perform structural steel welding in a fabrication shop environment
• Weld light and heavy beams, columns, and structural assemblies
• Perform FCAW/Flux-Core welding in accordance with project specifications
• Follow applicable Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
• Read and interpret structural drawings and welding symbols
• Perform groove and fillet welds to required quality standards
• Maintain production requirements while ensuring weld quality
• Inspect completed welds and make necessary corrections or repairs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Work extended shifts, weekends, and overtime as required by the project
