Job summary

Tradesmen International is actively seeking experienced Structural Flux-Core Welders for travel assignments across multiple job sites. The role offers pay up to $35/hour plus $100 per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the Jobsite, with opportunities for extended shifts and overtime.

Ideal candidates will have strong FCAW welding experience, ability to read weld symbols and structural drawings, and a track record in heavy fabrication in a fabrication shop environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass various weld tests.
• Previous experience with structural steel fabrication.
• Strong FCAW/Flux-Core welding experience.
• Experience with heavy fabrication.
• Experience welding beams, columns, and structural assemblies.
• Proficiency with groove and fillet welds.
• Experience working from WPS requirements.
• Ability to read structural drawings and weld symbols.
• AWS or other recognized structural welding certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural steel welding in a fabrication shop environment.
• Weld light and heavy beams, columns, and structural assemblies.
• Perform FCAW/Flux-Core welding in accordance with project specifications.
• Follow applicable Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Read and interpret structural drawings and welding symbols.
• Perform groove and fillet welds to required quality standards.
• Maintain production requirements while ensuring weld quality.
• Inspect completed welds and make necessary corrections or repairs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Work extended shifts, weekends, and overtime as required by the project.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Structural Flux-Core Welders. The pay rate is up to $35/hour plus $100/per diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the Jobsite.
