Job summary

ECS Group is seeking a Structural Project Associate to join our Mid-Atlantic Building Science + Infrastructure team in Chantilly, VA. You will support structural engineering and consulting projects through field investigations, assessments, testing, and report preparation, collaborating with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

You will contribute to repair and rehabilitation projects, review calculations and submittals, and maintain code familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• EIT preferred; PE licensure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering, assessment, testing, and consulting services.
• Conduct field investigations and condition evaluations of existing structures.
• Direct and oversee field testing activities including anchor pull testing, GPR, coring, etc.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing field observations, analyses, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
