Job summary

ECS Group is seeking a Structural Staff Professional to join the Mid-Atlantic Building Science + Infrastructure team in Chantilly, VA. You will gain hands-on experience in field investigations, testing, reporting, and project support while collaborating with senior staff on diverse facilities and clients.

Under supervision, you will perform field testing (anchor bolts, GPR, coring, etc.), assist with structural assessments, and contribute to project budgets and client communications.

Qualifications

• Must have field testing capability and understanding of building science concepts.
• Experience with sample collection methods and testing techniques is desirable.
• Ability to assist in designing and reviewing structural assessments and construction admin tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing under supervision (anchor bolt, bond tests, GPR, coring, etc.).
• Assist with structural assessments and potentially supervise junior staff.
• Review drawings and RFIs; support budget updates and owner meetings.
