Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Chantilly, VA, is seeking a Structural Staff Professional to join the Mid-Atlantic Building Science + Infrastructure team. You will gain hands-on field experience in testing, reporting, and project support while collaborating with senior staff to deliver high-quality consulting solutions.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team across facilities and clients, performing field tests, documenting findings, and contributing to building science projects from initial

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building science & infrastructure consulting or equivalent
• Experience with non-destructive testing preferred
• Professional certifications (NRCA/RCI, AWCI, ICC, IIBEC etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

• Learn how to perform building science & infrastructure related testing and consulting services.
• Demonstrate understanding of sample collection techniques and testing methods per codes.
• Under supervision, perform field testing projects and contribute to structural assessments and construction administration services.
• Supervise field testing as directed and assist with report preparation.
• Review drawings and communications; communicate budget and schedule implications to the supervisor.
• Assist with project budgets, change orders, invoicing, and client communications.
