Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and isometric drawings.
• Measure, mark, cut, fit, and assemble structural steel and mechanical components.
• Fabricate items such as structural supports, platforms, walkways, brackets and ladders.
• Use cutting torches, plasma cutters, grinders, drills, saws, and welding/fabrication equipment.
• Perform layout and fit-up before welding.
• Work with welders and check dimensions, angles, elevations, and tolerances.
