Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers seeks a Structural Engineering Group Leader in Indianapolis to grow the local structural team and expand our market presence. You will mentor engineers and BIM modelers, deepen client relationships, and provide technical leadership from planning through construction while aligning with KPFF’s national resources.

You will lead a team in a dynamic, office-based environment, shaping culture and strategy and driving the practice forward in the Indianapolis area.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience with leadership of complex projects.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading teams of three or more engineers.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Masters preferred) OR Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Grow KPFF’s structural engineering group in the Indianapolis market and expand local presence.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of engineers and BIM modelers.
• Strengthen client relationships by identifying opportunities and securing work, locally and nationally.
• Provide technical and project leadership across structural systems, materials, and delivery methods from planning to construction.
• Shape office culture, processes, and strategy while connecting Indianapolis with KPFF’s resources.
