Job Description: Contract Structural Engineer (Senior) - Remote Work

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and proficiency in STADD, STRUDL, and ANSYS. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing complex structural systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform structural design and analysis of complex structures.
2. Prepare and review construction documents.
3. Provide technical support to project managers and architects.
4. Collaborate with other engineers and consultants to develop and implement solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Advanced Degree preferred).
2. Professional Registration (PE) desired.
3. 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, particularly related to new construction or retrofit of power facilities or similar heavy industrial facilities.
4. Detailed knowledge of engineering design principles, competence in structural steel and concrete design, and familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and methodologies.
5. Proficiency in STADD/STRUDL, PCA Column/Mats, ANSYS, MathCAD, Excel, and AutoCAD.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
