Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

A multi-discipline engineering service provider in New York is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity for growth into a department manager position. The firm is committed to exceeding client expectations through careful planning, design, and project management. This is a remote position.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis from an NCEES-accredited university
• EIT or PE certification
• 3-10 years of relevant experience
• Experience with structural systems, NYC building design, steel, masonry structures, foundations, and construction practices
• Knowledge of structural engineering programs
• Proficiency in AutoCAD

Position Responsibilities

• Develop calculations for safe, economical structural designs
• Provide technical expertise within the discipline and department
• Review and check engineering designs, drawings, and documents
• Certify designs and drawings as needed
• Maintain and improve standards and procedures
• Serve as Project Manager, Project Leader, or Senior Engineer on projects
• Collaborate with other departments, clients, and contractors

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: $100,000 - $145,000 (negotiable based on experience and skills)
• Medical, Dental, Vision insurance
• Paid Time Off (holidays off)
• Bonuses ranging from $3,000 to $15,000
