Giles Flythe Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer with at least five years of experience to join our team in Raleigh or Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Work You Will Perform

• Conduct on-site investigations and structural assessments of existing structures.
• Complete forensic evaluations and reports.
• Design residential and commercial structures.
• Manage construction projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Travel to inspection sites as needed.

What You'll Need To Be Successful

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a focus on structural engineering.
• Minimum of five years of structural engineering experience.
• PE license or ability to obtain within six months.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Willingness to perform inspections in various environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Valid driver's license with a good record.
