Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd in Indianapolis is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to lead projects from design through completion while remaining hands-on with structural engineering and working directly with clients.

You will mentor junior engineers, ensure drawings and calculations meet IBC, ASCE, and AISC standards, and coordinate with architects, contractors, and fabricators in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• PE license required.
• 4+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience managing structural engineering projects.
• Strong background in structural steel and connection design.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural projects from initial design through project closeout.
• Design structural steel connections, building structures, foundations, stairs, and rails.
• Perform structural analysis and calculations in compliance with IBC, ASCE, and AISC standards.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, fabricators, and internal teams.
