About the Role
We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join a growing engineering team and support the design and delivery of municipal, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex structural challenges, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the continued growth of an established structural engineering practice.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering from an accredited program
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain PE licensure within one year
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive structural engineering experience
- Experience performing structural analysis and engineering calculations
- Strong knowledge of applicable building codes, standards, and design practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Established relationships within the engineering industry
- Experience working with municipal, state, and federal agencies
- Proposal development and client-facing experience
Responsibilities
- Perform structural calculations in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
- Prepare engineering drawings, construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports
- Develop practical and constructible structural solutions for complex engineering challenges
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, and clients throughout project execution
- Prepare permitting packages and supporting documentation for regulatory agencies
- Assist with project planning, scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and proposal preparation
- Conduct QA/QC reviews of engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentsSupport continuous improvement of engineering standards, processes, and workflows
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and designers

Leadership Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assign work to entry-level engineers and designers
- Support project execution, scheduling, and budget management
- Assist with proposals, contracts, and client engagement activities
- Mentor and train engineering staff
- Participate in planning and coordination of engineering efforts across multiple projects
