Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying a PE Structural Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in the greater Cincinnati, OH / Northern Kentucky area. We are seeking a highly motivated and personable Structural Engineer to join a growing local firm. The primary focus will be on residential projects, with some involvement in small-scale commercial work. The engineer will provide customers with unbiased verbal assessments through consultations or offer guidance through designs and written reports. Projects may include foundation work, retaining wall designs, framing issues, fire damage/tree impact assessments, small additions, and overall structural work for wood, concrete, brick, or steel structures. Our ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial-minded professional who enjoys interacting with clients, providing repair recommendations, and delivering high-quality structural assessments. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our business's growth and potentially open new locations in different cities in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site meetings with homeowners, buyers, and realtors to assess structural needs and provide appropriate recommendations for repair or renovation.
• Perform verbal assessments for projects such as renovations, small additions, retaining wall designs, tree impact analysis, fire damage evaluation, and overall structural integrity of houses.
• Discuss structural concerns or interests with customers and explain observations in clear and simple language.
• Create detailed reports and drawings to document assessment findings, design solutions, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their project requirements and provide guidance on structural design and load development.
• Interact with customers, including homeowners and commercial clients, to ensure their needs are met and communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a quick turnaround for assessments and reports.
• Stay up to date with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to residential and small-scale commercial structural engineering.

Annual Compensation: $115,000 - $140,000
