Position: Full-Time Staff Structural Engineer III

Location: Greenville SC, Charlotte NC, or Remote

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop structural analysis and design deliverables, engineering design criteria, and specifications for foundations, concrete, and steel structures on various projects.
2. Prepare structural analysis and design for industrial, solar, and power facilities, including foundations, buildings, equipment supports, and modifications.
3. Provide discipline administrative and supervisory functions, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, staffing, and staff management.
4. Review and check calculations, sketches, specifications, and design drawings.
5. Provide technical guidance, review vendor documents, and ensure design compliance with codes.
6. Coordinate design efforts with other disciplines, subcontractors, construction, and clients.
7. Ensure design correctness, consistency with codes, and constructibility.
8. Stamp documents as a PE or SE when responsible for work.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of project execution and standards (ACI, AISC, IBC, ASCE).
• Leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, RISA or STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, and Lpile.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with emphasis on structural.
• 6+ years of experience.
• PE license preferred.

Salary range: $102,880 - $154,320, based on experience and location.

Must be able to perform physical and mental tasks such as visual acuity, balancing, stooping, reaching, walking, kneeling, manual dexterity, climbing, hearing, talking, concentrating, reading, reasoning, writing, and expressing thoughts. Ability to perform all job functions at the office or worksite.
