We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer with expertise in structural damage assessment and failure analysis of commercial, residential, and industrial structures. Preferred experience includes determining causes of structural failure, storm damage assessments, roof damage, building collapse, structural integrity, building envelope, post-fire damage, vehicle impact, tree impact, water intrusion, construction or design defects.
This is a remote role working from a home-based office, requiring working in various environments and some travel (local or regional). Candidates residing in the greater Chicago, Naperville, Schaumburg area are preferred. A P.E. license in Illinois is required; SE license is preferred.
To investigate failures and provide expert opinions, guidance, and leadership on complex engineering assignments, contributing to the company's profitability through engineering consulting services.

Note: The starting salary range is $115,000 - $150,000, influenced by experience and location. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.
