Job summary

Sargent & Lundy invites a Structural Engineer Intern to join our Energy & Industrial Group in Englewood, CO. You will assist senior engineers on power generation, oil & gas, renewable, and carbon-capture projects, applying your structural knowledge on designs and specifications.

You will prepare calculations, participate in project reporting, and help with procurement specifications for major equipment while developing practical skills under experienced mentors.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Prefer ABET-accredited program and a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Prior internship or co-op experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing engineering calculations, specifications, and designs.
• Support project reporting tasks, tracking progress and data.
• Assist in system designs and prepare specifications for procurement of major energy equipment and installation services.
