Job summary

Sargent & Lundy invites applications for a Process Engineer Intern in the Energy & Industrial Group. You will join a project team and assist the Oil & Gas engineering group with upstream production, gas transmission, renewables, and carbon-capture projects.

Reporting to senior engineers, you will develop engineering calculations, specifications, and designs, track project progress, and help prepare procurement specifications for major energy equipment and services.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Self-starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction.
• Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions and meet deadlines.
• Leadership experience within campus/community is valued.
• Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior, related internship or co-op experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, specifications, and designs.
• Track and evaluate project activities, project progress, and related data.
• Be involved in system designs and the preparation of specifications for procurement of major energy equipment and related installation services.
