Civil and Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is hiring a Structural Engineer for our Manufacturing Infrastructure Services team in our Pittsburgh, PA office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline is required.
• 1+ years of experience on structural projects, industrial/manufacturing focus preferred.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within one year preferred.
• Understanding of codes: ACI, AISC, AISI, ASCE, AWS, MBMA, SDI, SJI.
• Ability to perform field/site visits and travel ~10%.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply structural codes and standards in design and analysis.
• Design buildings, foundations, equipment foundations, steel, and masonry systems.
• Evaluate modifications to existing structures and facilities.
• Conduct structural analysis using STAAD, TEDDS, RISA, SP-MATS.
• Prepare structural calculations and details for steel, concrete, masonry.
• Coordinate with architecture, civil, mechanical, electrical and other teams.
