Job summary

Civil and Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a Structural Designer for our Manufacturing Infrastructure Services (MIS) team in the Pittsburgh, PA area.

You will contribute to cutting-edge facilities across multiple markets, collaborating with engineers and designers to deliver robust structural models and construction documents. We value ownership, mentorship, and professional growth in a 100% employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience on structural projects, with emphasis on industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Ability to interpret and coordinate structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and process drawings for industrial facilities.
• Experience coordinating structural designs with process, mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with structural engineer to design buildings, foundations, and steel/concrete structures.
• Develop and maintain structural Revit models and construction documents.
• Review information and coordinate design criteria with other disciplines to resolve problems.
• Develop structural material take-offs.
• Provide quality oversight for designs prepared by others.
