Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Site Development team in Pittsburgh, PA. You will contribute to a diverse mix of commercial, industrial, institutional, energy, and renewable energy projects from concept through construction.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, gain exposure to clients and regulatory agencies, and benefit from a 100% employee-owned firm, mentorship, and a collaborative culture focused on professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of civil engineering or site development experience.
• EIT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams with site development and land development from concept through construction.
• Prepare site layout, grading designs, erosion and sediment control plans, and utility designs.
• Support permitting efforts and prepare land development applications.
• Develop construction plans and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in project planning, design, permitting, bidding, and construction support.
