Qualifications

• Professional Engineer license preferred or FE exam completed.
• Experience with engineering design and plan certification.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes structural engineering standards to design commercial, industrial, institutional, residential and agricultural buildings.
• Generates construction plans from contracts using AutoCAD and presents for certification.
• Ensures plan compliance and timely delivery by coordinating with orders, drawings and project stakeholders.
• Engages with sales, drafting, and design professionals to review contract requirements and create documentation.
• Acts as point person for standard practices to subcontractors and consultants affecting structural certification.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
