Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Design Engineer (EIT or PE) in GA for a permanent, on-site role. Join a fast-paced team working on geotechnical design, soil mechanics and retaining wall projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD, Excel, MSEW and ReSSA is preferred, with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and an EIT/PE license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in geotechnical design, structural analysis and retaining wall design.
• A valid EIT or PE license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD, Excel, MSEW and ReSSA.
• Strong mathematical and spatial reasoning abilities.
• Solid soil mechanics knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Proactive, multi-project problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze geotechnical and retaining wall structures for projects.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop robust solutions.
• Prepare technical drawings and calculations with AutoCAD and ReSSA.
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling and reporting.
