Job summary

Conrad Consulting is seeking an EIT Structural Engineer in Richmond, VA to contribute to a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, institutional, and specialty projects. You will support structural design, run analyses, and collaborate with architects and contractors while advancing toward PE licensure.

You’ll work closely with senior engineers, gain increasing project ownership, and benefit from mentorship and a collaborative culture that emphasizes technical development and long-term

• Preparing and reviewing drawings and models using Revit
• Coordinating with architects, contractors, and internal project teams

• Working closely with senior engineers while taking on increasing project responsibility

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting structural design across a variety of building projects
• Performing analysis and design for steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures
• Preparing and reviewing drawings and models using Revit
• Coordinating with architects, contractors, and internal project teams
• Participating in site visits and construction administration
• Working closely with senior engineers while taking on increasing project responsibility

What we're looking for:

• 2–7 years of structural engineering experience
• EIT certification required
• PE license welcomed, but not required
• Candidates should be actively progressing toward PE licensure
• Proficiency in Revit
• Experience with RISA, RAM, ETABS, or similar structural analysis software
• Strong communication and coordination skills
