Job summary

Stantec is seeking a qualified Structural Engineer for our Honolulu office to work independently on small projects and with a team on larger projects under the guidance of a Senior Structural Engineer.

The ideal candidate will evaluate and specify engineered systems, perform calculations, develop specs for less complex projects, and coordinate with multiple disciplines to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. Familiarity with Revit and CSI-style tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; Master’s preferred.
• Structural Engineering license is preferred.
• Experience with modeling software (Autodesk Revit).
• Experience with CSI, RISA, RAM or similar.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete calculations and drawings for small projects.
• Coordinate with architectural, interiors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Perform Construction Administration duties including RFIs and submittal reviews.
• Communicate design issues and solutions to the design team and owners.
• Work within project budgets and schedules to deliver on time.
