Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for our Honolulu, HI office. You will lead structural engineering tasks for buildings, bridges, and infrastructure, guiding multiple projects and ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities include data analysis, modeling, and preparing technical reports, while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with architects, planners, and other professionals on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience in structural or civil design.
• Engineer in Training Certification.
• Proficient knowledge of structural engineering principles, practices, and design/build.
• Experience with design and construction management on rehabilitation and new design projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead professional structural engineering work and assess site conditions for conformance with rules and permits.
• Develop construction plans and specifications.
• Prepare data, tables, charts, and 2D/3D illustrations for analyses and presentations.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure QA/QC adherence.
