Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Hawaii is seeking a Structural Engineer to design commercial, residential, and institutional buildings. Responsibilities include managing projects, supervising junior engineers, and ensuring compliance on-site. Job Summary

We are seeking a Structural Engineer (Building) to join our team! As a Structural Engineer, work will include the design of commercial, retail, residential, institutional and federal buildings in concrete, structural steel, masonry and wood.

Responsibilities

Project Management

Design and production of construction documents

Supervision of junior engineers

Go out into the field as needed to observe the construction and ensure the drawings are being followed appropriately

Maintain excellent records on progress and projects handled

Qualifications

Bachelors or higher in Structural Engineering desired

Must hold current Hawaii license or be willing to obtain

Experience with ETABS, SAP, RAM, and Revit Structure modeling a plus

Experience with earthquake and hurricane building assessment and retrofit design a plus

The ability to work well both independently and within a team
