Job summary

KAI Hawaii, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer (Building) to join our team in Hawaii. The role involves designing commercial, retail, residential, institutional and federal buildings using concrete, steel, masonry and wood, with emphasis on safety and code compliance.

You will manage projects, supervise junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Field observations and the production of construction documents are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Structural Engineering.
• Hawaii license current or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with ETABS, SAP, RAM and Revit Structure modeling a plus.
• Experience with earthquake and hurricane retrofit design a plus.
• Ability to work well independently and within a team.
