Job summary

Conrad Consulting is seeking a Structural Engineer (EIT) in the Washington, D.C. area with 0–5 years of experience. You will perform structural analysis, prepare calculations and drawings, and support design of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures using Revit and related tools.

The role offers hybrid work flexibility and a clear path toward PE licensure, with opportunities to increase project ownership as you progress and develop under experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of structural engineering experience
• EIT certification required or ability to obtain shortly after joining
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• PE progression encouraged as your career develops
• Building design experience through professional work, internships, or academic projects welcomed
• Experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD preferred
• Familiarity with RAM, RISA, ETABS, SAP, Enercalc, or similar software is a plus
• Strong communication and collaborative skills

Responsibilities

We’re partnered with a highly respected structural engineering firm in the Washington, D.C. market looking to add a Structural Engineer to its growing team.

This is an opportunity for an early-career engineer to develop strong technical building design experience, work alongside experienced engineers, and progress toward greater project responsibility and PE licensure.
