Job summary

Conrad Consulting is seeking a Structural Engineer (EIT) in the Washington, D.C. area with 0–5 years of experience. You will perform structural analysis, prepare calculations and drawings, and support design of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures using Revit and related tools.

The role offers hybrid work flexibility and a clear path toward PE licensure, with opportunities to increase project ownership as you progress and develop under experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of structural engineering experience
• EIT certification required or ability to obtain shortly after joining
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• PE progression encouraged as your career develops
• Building design experience through professional work, internships, or academic projects welcomed
• Experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD preferred
• Familiarity with RAM, RISA, ETABS, SAP, Enercalc, or similar software is a plus
• Strong communication and collaborative skills

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design across a variety of building projects
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and construction documents
• Support design of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures
• Develop drawings and models using Revit
• Review contractor submittals and support construction administration
• Coordinate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary project teams
• Take on increasing technical and project responsibility as you develop
