Job summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineering Intern in Pittsburgh, PA or Morgantown, WV. The role offers exposure to bridge and transportation structure design on a variety of projects.

Interns gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology and mentor guidance in a globally recognized firm. The internship runs Spring/Summer 2027 with a hybrid in-office schedule.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of study completed.
• US Citizenship is required for this position.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and must pass motor vehicle records review.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical training to perform basic calculations and learn new skills.
• Assist with design, analysis, rehabilitation, and inspection of highway bridges and related transportation structures.
• Aid in preliminary to final design calculations, plan development, and field information review.
