Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our Pittsburgh, PA or Morgantown, WV team. You will contribute to design development, analysis, and rehabilitation of highway bridges and transportation structures under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in structural or civil engineering, US citizenship, and an interest in pursuing licensure through GDP or related programs. This is a hybrid, on-site role with on-the-job training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• US Citizenship is required for this position.
• Must pass AECOM’s motor vehicle records review.

Responsibilities

• Perform design, analysis, rehabilitation, and inspection of highway bridges and transportation structures.
• Build analytic and design skills under supervision.
• Use computer software to solve engineering problems; develop work details.
• Prepare drawings, estimates, and schedules under supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Ensure work aligns with budget and schedule under supervision of an experienced engineer.
