AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineering Intern – Bridge & Transportation Structures in Mechanicsburg, PA. The internship offers exposure to bridge design and transportation structures, working with experienced professionals on infrastructure projects across the transportation network.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Graduates may apply for these positions.
• Must have completed 2 years of study at the time of the internship.
• US Citizenship is required for this position.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and must pass AECOM’s motor vehicle records review.

Responsibilities

• Applying technical training to perform basic calculations and learn new skills in a team setting.
• Assisting with design, analysis, rehabilitation, and inspection of highway bridges and transport structures.
• Assisting with preliminary to final design calculations and plan development and reviewing field information.
• Assisting with general office administration, including technical report reproduction.
