Job summary

AECOM in Conshohocken, PA is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for a hybrid internship in the Philadelphia area. You will gain hands-on experience on transportation projects, including bridges and related structures.

This internship begins Spring/Summer 2027. Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with at least two years of study and may pursue a Master's degree later. Hybrid in-office work is required in Conshohocken.

Qualifications

• Candidates pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of study.
• US Citizenship is required for this position.
• Graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most recent term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical training to perform basic calculations… work well in a team and learn new skills.
• Assist with design, analysis, rehabilitation, and inspection of highway bridges and ancillary transportation structures.
• Assist with preliminary to final design calculations and plan development, reviewing field information, and possible field inspection of facilities.
• Assist with general office administration, including technical report reproduction.
