Parkhill in Texas seeks an Engineer-in-Training to support design through construction on architectural and structural projects. You will assist with site observations, prepare documents, and collaborate with our team to meet project timelines using Revit and related tools.

The position is full-time and exempt, offering a hybrid work setup, growth opportunities, and pathways toward professional licensing and continued education within Parkhill.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in civil or architectural engineering is required.
• EIT obtained or obtainable within 6 months of hire.
• Revit/BIM experience preferred.
• Experience with Structural Analysis Programs.
• Excellent client and team communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering efforts from design through construction on a variety of architectural and structural projects.
• Prepare engineering documents for routine projects accurately and effectively.
• Use computerized design software, including Autodesk Revit, and other relevant computerized tools to prepare design assignments.
• Collaborate with team members on design specifications and timelines.
• Perform field construction observation work when necessary, under minimal supervision.
• Work with our industry experts to develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs for public and private clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering.
• EIT obtained or obtainable within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in Revit/BIM is preferred.
• Experience in Structural Analysis Programs.
• Excellent client and team communication.
• Possess the ability to adapt and adjust as challenges present themselves.
• Self-motivated and resourceful in solving challenges in structural engineering.
