Job summary

Parkhill is seeking an Engineer-in-Training in Oklahoma City to join our Site Development & Planning team. You will participate in project development from concept through construction, with emphasis on coordination, documentation, and design support. This is a full-time, exempt salaried role with growth potential.

The position requires a civil engineering degree, an EIT, and up to two years of site development experience. Strong collaboration, communication, and software skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• EIT certification required or achieved.
• 0–2 years of site development experience preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS preferred; collaboration with non-engineers essential.

Responsibilities

• Contact city staff and agencies for project coordination and data collection.
• Support basic design calculations for site grading, drainage analysis, water and sanitary sewer utilities and paving improvements.
• Assist in the development of construction plans, specifications, and Opinions of Probable Costs.
• Collaborate with team members on design specifications and timelines.
• Perform field observation work when necessary, under minimal supervision.
• Develop relationships with clients, staff, municipal authorities, vendors, and contractors.
• Other duties as assigned.
