Job summary

Brown and Caldwell is seeking a Structural Design professional in Orlando to produce concrete plan and section drawings, develop steel structure drawings, and layout pipe racks and supports using Revit and AutoCAD. The role schedules columns/beams, creates stair detailing plans, and coordinates cross-discipline model clashes under moderate supervision with some independent judgment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of structural design experience.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Degree in structural design or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop concrete plan and section drawing development.
• Support structural engineers with drawing development and layout.
• Complete red line mark-ups and address design comments.
• Work on steel structure drawing development.
• Perform tasks involving pipe rack framing /support layout.
• Generate stair detailing plans and sections utilizing Revit/AutoCAD.
• Understand level of detail at project design gates/milestones.
• Manage column and beam scheduling.
• Engage in cross discipline model coordination/clash resolution.
• Flexibility to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on evolving needs.
